About P1 Racing Web Design Introduction

We’re racers who build websites for racers, drivers, teams, and shops who need a serious online presence to back up the work they’re doing on the track.

Who This Is For

If you’re a grassroots driver trying to look as professional as you race, this is for you. If you’re a team owner who’s tired of sending sponsors to a Facebook page, this is for you. If you’re a race shop trying to grow your customer base beyond word of mouth, this is for you.

And if you’re a sponsor or partner researching P1 before making a decision, you’re going to find the same thing everyone else does: a real operation, run by someone who lives this sport, built on results.

How It Started

I built my first website in 1999. It was a paint scheme mod for a NASCAR video game, and I didn’t know at the time that it would turn into a career. What I did know was that I loved the craft and I loved the sport.

After years of building sites for anyone who asked, I made a decision that changed everything: I went all in on motorsports and never looked back. The story of how that pivot happened, and what it cost to make it work, is on LinkedIn if you want the full version. The short version is this: it worked, and I’ve never been more certain of anything I’ve done professionally.

About

Who’s Behind P1?

I’m Kelly. I’ve been building websites since 1999, but what matters more is who I build them for.

I have a background in IT, a passion for design that I’m still pushing every single day, and a love for this sport that goes back to standing at the fence at Grandview Speedway as a kid. I own Hornet Nation Racing, a grassroots karting team I run with my son. We load up every race weekend, work through setup problems in the pits, deal with engine issues, weather, wrecks, and all of it. I know what your race weekend actually looks like.

P1 exists because racers deserve better than a slapped-together template or a Facebook page doing all the heavy lifting. I’ve seen what a well-built site can do: land sponsors, move merch, and make a small team look as professional as it runs.

This isn’t a side hustle. It’s my full-time work, and it’s personal.

Because I’m one of you.

How it works

We talk for 30 minutes.

You walk me through your goals, your sponsors, your merch situation, whatever matters most to your program. I listen first.

You send the goods.

Logos, photos, schedule, whatever you've got. I'll tell you exactly what I need and take it from there.

I build it and handle the rest.

You stay focused on racing. I handle the build, the launch, and the updates going forward.
