Family Promise of Berks County is a Reading-based nonprofit founded in 2006, helping families experiencing homelessness through programs like U Turn, Hospitality Network, and rent/utility assistance. Their outdated website couldn’t effectively communicate program details, recruit volunteers, or accept online donations. Families in crisis needed clear information about getting help, while donors and volunteers couldn’t easily engage with the organization’s mission or contribute online.
We built a mission-driven nonprofit website with clear program descriptions, volunteer opportunities, donation integration, event listings, and impact statistics. The design emphasizes accessibility and compassion while making it simple for families to understand available services and for supporters to donate or volunteer. Mobile-optimized and built for local Berks County search, the site positions Family Promise as a credible resource for families in housing crisis and donors seeking local impact.
